WHAT GOT YOU STARTED?
When I was expecting my first child, my circumstances were far from ideal for preparing for a new baby. Living in a bustling city without family nearby, juggling two jobs, and driving a sports car, I found myself overwhelmed by the challenge of preparing for the arrival of my baby in just nine months. During the process of purchasing my first home, I faced three denials but refused to accept defeat. Instead, I sought detailed explanations, researched the latest loan guidelines, and worked diligently to address each issue with my Mortgage Loan Originator. Ultimately, my persistence led to a successful approval. This experience sparked my interest in becoming a Mortgage Loan Originator myself. I dedicated my entire pregnancy to studying for the exam and took it the week I was discharged from the hospital after the birth of my son. I'm proud to say I passed on my first attempt.

ASKED MORTGAGE QUESTIONS
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PRE-APPROVAL AND PREQUALIFICATION?
A prequalification is simply a conversation between you and loan originator regarding your financials, assets, down payment, and any other information that is essential for the preapproval phase. A preapproval includes all the steps of a full approval, except for the appraisal and title search that is done during the final underwriting period.
WHAT WILL MY CLOSING COST BE?
There is no set amount for closing costs. Closing costs includes a variety of fees and expenses you pay when you secure a loan. These costs generally varies between 3%-6% of the loan amount.
WHAT ARE POINTS?
Also known as discount points, are fees paid to the lender in exchange for a reduced interest rate. 1 point = 1% of loan amount
